U.S. raises tariffs on CDN softwood lumber from 9 to 17.9% 6 days after Trudeau-Biden summit

State Media: Officials from various Canadian governments and the lumber industry are expressing disappointment that the U.S. has decided to go ahead with a plan to double the amount of duty it imposes on softwood lumber that comes from Canada.

It's almost like even the pant-soiling half-conscious American 'president' knows Trudeau and his government aren't serious, and won't do anything meaningful to defend Canada or Canadian industry.
