To stop illegal gun crimes, Trudeau is going to ban law-abiding citizens' legal, registered handguns

'Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino, a former Crown prosecutor, has pointed out that last year was a record for firearms-related arrests and seizures. The Canada Border Services Agency reported that the number of illegal firearms intercepted at the border has risen from 751 in 2017/18 to 955 last year.'
