Toronto Sun: Lilley: 'While legally and officially the campaign doesn’t start until next Wednesday, the Ford government’s budget will simply be the latest in a spree of campaign promises and announcements from all the parties.
'Proof of this is found in the fact that immediately after the budget is introduced, the legislature will shut down for the campaign that leads us to voting day on June 2.
'They won’t debate it; they won’t send it to committee or vote on it. The budget will be introduced, and the campaigning begins.
'So, anything that the government details in their budget should be taken for what it really is, a PC Party election promise.'
