CSIS 'worried' about 'threats' that would justify bigger budgets & overreach

Ottawa Citizen: Canada’s spy service said on Friday it was increasingly concerned about the rise of violent ideologically motivated online rhetoric, which it blamed in part on tensions caused by the CCP Virus pandemic.


So spies are suggesting that there is more violent rhetoric online, and this spike in alleged violent rhetoric is justification for these same spies to be conferred more power, more reach, and more money. Conflict of interest, eh?
