The Guardian: "A First Nations community on Canada’s west coast practiced the sustainable harvest of wild salmon for 1,000 years, before the system was largely destroyed after the arrival of European settlers, a new study has concluded."


If you're feeding a population of a few hundred, maximum, anything you do is 'sustainable'.
