Burnaby Now: 'The federal government is aiming to expand housing dedicated for Black-Canadian households by creating a $50-million fund. Black-led organizations can apply for funding of their affordable housing projects through the National Housing Strategy's National Housing Co-Investment Fund (NHCF), according to the government. The funding will provide contributions of up to 40% for project costs to build affordable rental housing that will benefit Black Canadians, government stated June 24.'
