Toronto Sun: 'Manitoba Justice said in a statement that following an investigation, no charges will be laid in relation to the toppling of statues or the organization of the protests at the legislative grounds held on Canada Day last year.
'According to the statement, there have been other charges laid for offences to public safety on July 1, 2021. A 51-year-old man was arrested and later released for damaging a private vehicle on the Legislature grounds after the event. He faced charges of mischief and assaulting a police officer.'
Curious how when protesters put a Canadian flag around the statue of Terry Fox's neck, the Canadian media went apoplectic and feigned outrage, but when iconoclasts tear down a statue of Queen Victoria, there's crickets. It's almost as if there is an ideological skew: that leftist, enviromarxist, statist, and anti-Canadian protests, iconoclasm, and riots, are acceptable, but non-partisan working class, conservative, pro-life, or Christian demonstrations are deplorable.
