Liberals abandon promise to lower cellphone bills

iPolitics: "During the 2019 election, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau promised to lower cellphone bills by 25 per cent, but the pledge was missing from his party’s 2021 election platform. On Thursday, Trudeau released his ministerial mandate letters, but cutting cellphone bills was also missing from his letter to Innovation, Science, and Industry Minister François-Philippe Champagne. Reducing cellphone bills was, however, included in the 2019 mandate letters."
