'I am an activist,' says federal environment minister as he meets with energy leaders

Calgary Herald: "It’s an understatement to say the minister’s [Guilbeault] arrival has triggered suspicion within the Alberta government and oilpatch, particularly as key federal policies move ahead, including the cap, new rules to slash methane emissions and a federal tax credit for carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS) projects."

The authoritarian enviromarxist Steven Guilbeault says: “I am an activist. I was and I still am an activist, but I am now the minister of environment and climate change for all Canadians. And I have responsibilities now that were not the responsibilities I had as an environmentalist activist.”
