National Post: 'The fundraiser, started Jan. 14 by Tamara Lich — an official from the western separatist Maverick Party — proved wildly successful, recording nearly 58,000 donors, with at least seven giving donations in excess of $10,000.
'The Canadian Press reported GoFundMe froze the fundraiser, with a company spokesperson explaining they halted the campaign until organizers could provide a plan on how funds will be disbursed.
'However, as of Tuesday afternoon, new donations continue to pour in, ranging from a few dollars to several hundred.'
