'First time in Ontario history': Labour unions lining up behind Doug Ford's PC party

National Post: 'As the Ontario election campaign reaches its third week, Doug Ford and the Ontario PC Party are receiving endorsements from labour unions in the province.


'The IBEW Construction Council of Ontario (IBEW CCO) made the announcement in a statement released on Monday.


'The union serves more than 18,000 women and men working in varied sectors of the electrical industry. Its Executive Secretary Treasurer James Berry said that Ford backed up his support of electrical trades “with positive and meaningful action that is unprecedented in our union’s history.”'
