BNN Bloomberg: The consumer price index rose 4.7 per cent in October from a year earlier, from a pace of 4.4 per cent in September, Statistics Canada said Wednesday in Ottawa. That’s the highest since 2003, when it last hit 4.7 per cent. Inflation hasn’t exceeded that level in the three decades since the Bank of Canada first started targeting inflation in 1991.
