Bank of Canada governor says central bank’s role includes reducing inequality

Globe & Mail: Macklem made the comments to end the conference on diversity and inclusiveness organized jointly by the Bank of Canada, the U.S. Federal Reserve, the Bank of England and the European Central Bank. The Bank of Canada is set to host the conference next year.


Macklem should start by redistributing his savings and income to those in need, but of course he just wants to be charitable with other people's money.
