$364 million in zero- and low-interest loans given to Communist-occupied China since 1980

TNC: 'According to Blacklock’s Reporter, an Inquiry Of Ministry requested by Conservative MP Kelly McCauley and tabled in the House of Commons revealed the nature of the loans.

The inquiry showed that of a total 168 loans given to China to buy Canadian goods, 147 were interest-free for 40 or 50 years. The 21 others had interest rates from 1% to 9%.'
